Fighter Practice is currently at our winter site, Kildee Hall Animal pavillion on the Iowa State University campus at 7:00 on Wednesday nights.

Fighter Practice has offically been moved to Wednesday nights at 7:00 and we have also switched to our summer site, Brookside Park.   Please remember to bring water or approriate gear for the weather, we will not always have access to shelter.

The business meeting next will cover several important Canton issues.

1. The Event Formerly Known as Feast of Fools - What to call it, discussion of flyer creation and more!
2. Summer Fighter Practice - Should it be moved to Wednesdays, Rotating Site - Should we and what locations.
3. Open officer positions - We currently are in need of a Knight Marshall and Minster of Arts and Sciences

Remember the business meetings ususually start before the fighter practice time, anywhere from 6:00 to 6:30ish people will be around to talk about the key points.

The Canton will once again be participating in VEISHA.  We are hoping this year to also have a float (court on wheels) and the famous Pell Tournament.  We are currently looking for someone new, preferablly a student, and a veteran SCAdian to head up the event.  Vinni has volunteered to work with the university. More information in the upcoming month as we continue to plan. 

We will be having fighter practice this week (Thurs, Aug 23) and next week (Thurs, Aug 30) in front of Parks Library on the ISU campus at 6:30.  NOTE both the time and location changes.
