Lake Tai

Today most of the EF staff went to Lake Tai (Taihu). It’s about 2 hours from home, which we spent on a tour bus staring blankly at the tour guide (who boldly pressed on through her standard speech in Chinese). The day’s plan was simple. Go to Dragon Head Park, play around there for a few hours, eat lunch, then go home. We did just that.

At the entrance to the park is this awesome tree. It’s completely fake, made of of fiberglass and concrete

The park contained a lot of “challenge course”-type activities. Rock climbing walls, rope bridges, etc.

All along the lakeshore were beaches made entirely of snail shells

We appreciated the fancy carp.
