EF Halloween Party

EF had a kids’ Halloween party on the night of the 28th. Initially, there was going to be a formal dress party for the adults as well, but only 6 people signed up. The kids’ party, however, proved to be immensely popular. The 120 tickets available sold out quickly, and there were many kids who wanted to go but couldn’t. It’s a good thing, too, because there were WAY too many people in too small a space.

The kids were divided into groups to rotate around to different activity stations, each manned by a teacher or two. Nichole and I did face painting. It was a bit of a pain to get all the kids organized, but it was well received.

Nichole and I went in garb. This was the first time I’d worn the liripipe from Pipa, and it worked beautifully. Nichole hand-sewed my tunic, as well.

We also helped Steve make his zombie costume (destroying a $250 suit in the process) and his makeup. Burning wool smells bad, but not as bad as burning synthetic lining.
