Excuses and shameless guilt-tripping!

Hi all, sorry we’ve been bad about updating–summer is a bit crazy. I thought I’d tell you about the schedule that’s been keeping us from updating.
Six days a week I have a 9am class. I get up and get ready, then walk for about 15 minutes to work. The temperatures are already above 80 with about a 90-95% humidity. I get to work between 8 and 8:30, depending on how much planning I did the night before. I teach for 2-3 hours then take my lunch break. I usually go out to the noodle place down the street and bring back food for me and Sam-the-gimp, this saves him from extra trips up and down the three flights of stairs to our office. During the lunch break (which is nice and long), I plan for my afternoon class and begin planning for the next morning. Then I teach for another two hours and try to finish my planning. Once a week we have staff meetings after classes. I don’t have any night classes at the moment (Sam has two, but no mornings), so I usually get home somewhere around 6. Then I turn into a vegetable for a couple of hours before I go to bed at 9-10.
Thankfully there’s only about 3 weeks left of summer school! Then we’ll return to a sane schedule, and no good excuse for not updating! That brings us to the shameless guilt-tripping portion of this post :D One of the other reasons we’re bad about updating is that we don’t get any feedback from our friends and families. The last time anyone commented on this site was in February–seven months ago. I can’t speak for Sam, but I feel like I’m talking to myself when I post something. So, please comment, even if it’s just to tell me to quit whining!
