Moving along

Progress continues. I’m now walking (with 1 crutch to support and stabilize my bad leg), but at about 1/4 normal speed. I’m using the wheelchair in the office, but limping along at home. Stairs are my least favorite part of the day (5 flights at the apartment, 4 at school) but I’m getting better at them.

I’m back to teaching full-time, 31 class hours per week. It’s far better than sitting around at home twiddling my thumbs trying to find something to do. I’m sure that I’ll soon be annoyed at the workload, but not yet. Right now I’m teaching a class of adults, a class of pre-teens, a one-to-one student, and a summer intensive course for high school students. The intensive students are coming to EF 5 days a week, for 3 hours a day. They’ll work through 2 course levels in less time than it normally takes to finish 1. I feel sorry for them.
